Serena L. Broussard
Serena is a native of San Francisco with over 27 years of experience in
administrative support to high-level executives in public and private
sectors. Serena has an innate ability to interact, with appropriate protocol
and professionalism with high-ranking officials from governments and national
organizations. A strong commitment to work in a high profile and intensive
environment with unpredictable hours and other demands. In addition she
is a Notary Public. Serena joined the firm in 1995.
Jess came to Walker, Hamilton, Koenig & Burbidge in 2011 after working
the last four years as an Intake Coordinator for another San Francisco
plaintiff's law firm. Prior to that he worked in the Recreation field
as a facilities coordinator and specialist.
A native of Southern California, Jess received his B.A. degree in Theatre
Arts from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. After graduation he worked
in various theatrical venues such as Long Beach Terrace Theatre, East
West Players and Knott's Berry Farm. After dabbling in professional
theatre as a stage-hand and lighting designer, Jess moved to the Bay Area in 2007.
At WHK, Jess performs general office duties including filing, intakes and
assists the principles and associates in their representation of individuals
who have been injured or harmed through the negligence of others.
In his spare time Jess enjoys working out, cooking and spending time with
his wonderful wife.
Jess is honored to be working with this great group of people at Walker,
Hamilton, Koenig & Burbidge.
Helen Y. Calip
Helen has extensive experience in assisting attorneys with personal injury,
wrongful death, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, employment and
class action lawsuits.
After working for several years as the Product Liability Supervisor for
a major cookware distributor, she returned to her litigation support roots
at Walker, Hamilton, Koenig & Burbidge as the firm’s paralegal.
Helen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University
and her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University.
Jeffrey works as a legal assistant at WHK&B while he pursues his juris
doctorate at the University of San Francisco Law School.
